From the runways of New York to the factories of Bangladesh, models and garment workers are organizing for workplace health and safety standards.
"From the Runway to the Factory Floor: Labor Rights, Safety and Public Health" is a student-run symposium being held at Weiner Auditorium at the Harvard Kennedy School on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 4pm.

- Iskra Lawrence, Model and Ambassador to the National Eating Disorders Association
- Ashley Mears, Associate Professor of Sociology at Boston University
- Dr. S. Bryn Austin, Professor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Co-organized by The Law Society at Harvard Kenendy School and The Model Alliance, the event will be moderated by Sara Ziff, founding director of Model Alliance (MC MPA '16). Refreshments will be served.
